During the last month of 2025 another planet will turn direct, and two others, along with the Sun move to Capricorn. So we are getting closer to winter.
Let’s have a look at the meaning of all of these events one by one.

Full Moon in Gemini
This Full Moon is special because it is a supermoon. It is called the Cold Moon. It will be the last full moon of the year 2025, and it will occur in Gemini. During this Full Moon, the Moon opposes the Sun sitting in Sagittarius together with Venus and Mars. The ruler of this Full Moon is Mercury dwelling in Scorpio while the Sun is ruled by Jupiter progressing through Cancer. So, both the Sun and the Moon have their rulers in water signs. In addition, both luminaries do not see their rulers which is not the best for them.
The full moon signifies the moment of being in the spotlight, presenting one’s work results to others but also exposing oneself to evaluation. Gemini, in turn, represents the mutable quality of the air element. It is associated with mind, intellect, communication and duality, but also with curiosity and ubiquity. Depending on the arrangement of planets in individual natal charts it may influence various aspects of human life.
For Gemini, the influence of the Full Moon will be more personal. This may raise questions about what one is actually looking for, what these searching are actually about, and whether it makes any sense. Virgo, on the other hand, will face square to the Sun and the Moon but also the opposition of Saturn. This may cause challenges in areas such as career e.g. changes in company structures. For Pisces, it will not be so challenging as for Virgo, but challenges faced will be related to a household. Cancer, Taurus, Scorpio, and Capricorn may not feel influenced by this Full Moon. When it comes to Libra, the Full Moon will bring new opportunities in terms of education and new ideas or opportunities for travels. Aquarius will discover a new source of their creativity while Aries may receive some news. Finally, Leo can make new friendships but also verify the existing relationships.

Neptune turns direct
On December 10th, Neptune turns direct, and it will be his last retrograde before he moves into Aries where he will stay for the next 13 years. He will reappear in Pisces in 176 years, so this is the last of Neptune in Pisces in our life.
Neptune retrograde shifts the focus to inner processes, especially in Pisces. The ending retrograde was difficult for almost all signs but particularly challenging for Virgo and Libra, Gemini and Cancer as well as for Sagittarius and Capricorn.
The retrograde from Aries into Pisces caused escapism, retreating into the imagination realm while avoiding facing problems and challenges. But Neptune in direct motion will foster learning something new about “who I am” while later, in Aries, using one’s newly discovered attributes to conquer the world.

Mars enters Capricorn
In the middle of December, Mars enters Capricorn — the sign of his exaltation. The enthusiastic energy of Sagittarius, with his occasional excess of self-confidence, will have to give way to Capricorn’s patience and consistency in action. For Cancer and Libra the next month and a half may be marked by tensions, for Libra in family related matters while for Cancer in interpersonal relations broadly understood. On the other hand, Scorpio and Aries will find this transit beneficial. Aries, thanks to careful decision-making may be able to achieve more at work whereas Cancer may finally express what he doesn’t like. Be careful, Cancer has pincers that he will not hesitate to use during this transit.
Until almost the end of January 2026 it will be very favourable period for performing magical practices related to Mars, Aries and Scorpio principles.

New Moon in Sagittarius
Shortly before the Christmas the new Moon in the last degrees of Sagittarius will take place. The New Moon occurs close to Venus but also in square to Saturn in Pisces while Jupiter — the ruler of this event — sits in Cancer where he is exalted, but the luminaries do not see him. This will be the moment to evaluate of which plans have been finalised but also to make new plans and seeking new perspectives. During this New Moon, Virgo and Gemini may feel a bit lost since they always have to do something.
For the next two weeks, the Moon during her wanning phase will support magical rituals.

Sun enters Capricorn
Short before Christmas, the Sun leaves the mutable sign of Sagittarius and enters the cardinal sign of Capricorn marking the moment of winter solstice. The Sun in Capricorn shifts from the enthusiastic energy of desire for adventure to more conservative and assiduous. Sun in Capricorn marks the beginning of a period of rest, regeneration, and finishing things.

Venus enters Capricorn
On Christmas Day, Venus joins the Sun and Mars in Capricorn leaving the sign of Sagittarius where she was peregrine for a longer time. At the end of the year, she is going to get more dignity in the earthy sign of Capricorn. In the new sign, Venus will exude a mood of stability, gravity, and dignity of feelings, especially in romantic matters.
Venus is not exceptionally dignified in Capricorn however she is well-placed in this sign and thanks to that it will be quite a good period for performing rituals related to Venus principles.
