This evening, the grand final of Eurovision 2026 is going to take place. This year, I am going to try predicting the possible outcome based on John Addey’s system. Last year, I analysed the outcome of the two previous finals in this post.
So, I cast a chart for the moment of the opening of the grand final. I set Campanus as a house system and checked which celestial body would be aspected by the cusp of the 5th house. It turned out that it is Uranus making a semisquare with the cusp. Uranus is in the 2nd degree of Gemini, right under the Ascendant.

The hardest part was finding an association between Uranus in a particular degree of Gemini and one of the 25 participants. Below is the list of all of them together with their songs’ titles and English translations.
| Country | Artist | Song Title |
| Albania | Alis | Nân (eng. Mother2) |
| Australia | Delta Goodrem | Eclipse |
| Austria | COSMÓ | Tanzschein (eng. Dance license3) |
| Belgium | ESSYLA | Dancing on the ice |
| Bulgaria | DARA | Bangaranga (eng. riot4) |
| Croatia | LELEK | Andromeda |
| Cyprus | Antigoni | JALLA (eng. let’s go/hurry up5) |
| Czechia | Daniel Zizka | CROSSROADS |
| Denmark | Søren Torpegaard Lund | Før Vi Går Hjem (eng. Before we go home6) |
| Finland | Linda Lampenius x Pete Parkkonen | Liekinheitin (eng. Flamethrower7) |
| France | Monroe | Regarde ! (eng. Look !8) |
| Germany | Sarah Engels | Fire |
| Greece | Akylas | Ferto (eng. Bring it9) |
| Israel | Noam Bettan | Michelle |
| Italy | Sal Da Vinci | Per Sempre Sì (eng. Forever Yes10) |
| Lithuania | Lion Ceccah | Sólo Quiero Más (eng. I just want more11) |
| Malta | AIDAN | Bella |
| Moldova | Satoshi | Viva, Moldova! |
| Norway | JONAS LOVV | YA YA YA |
| Poland | ALICJA | Pray |
| Romania | Alexandra Căpitănescu | Choke Me |
| Serbia | LAVINA | Kraj Mene (eng. Next to Me12) |
| Sweden | FELICIA | My System |
| Ukraine | LELÉKA | Ridnym (eng. to the loved ones13) |
| United Kingdom | LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER | Eins, Zwei, Drei (eng. One, Two, Three) |
To make my task easier, I checked the odds, and it seems that the top three types are Finland, Australia, and Greece.15 Finland with their flamethrower does not seem to fit the airy sign of Gemini and electric Uranus. Australia, represented by Delta Goodrem, may be a better match because of the delta ring of Uranus.16 I am aware that the reference does not seem serious, but the system I am using here is not built on deep symbolic meanings.

Greece does not seem to have any association with Uranus in this particular case. Except the top three countries, France, with a song Look !, seems a good match linking to Uranus responsible for sudden revelations. Bulgaria, with their song Bangaranga meaning riot, also seems a good match. Nevertheless, I am waiting for the outcome of today’s Grand Final and will try to figure out this riddle once the result is known. By the way, the timing of this final is interesting because it happens exactly during the new moon which is in conjunction with the fixed start Algol. This is quite intriguing.
Update 17.05.2026
Bulgaria won, which is not surprising according to the predictions, however, this was not my first type.17 Now that the results have been announced, we can turn our attention to reading about scandals, procedural irregularities, and whether various commentators consider the outcome valid or invalid.
