This year’s Wimbledon final is over, and the winners were no big surprise. In this post, I’ll analyse the men’s and women’s finals. Both matches started with a slight delay compared to the scheduled time. In the case of the men’s final, this affected the significators in the match chart.
A. Anisimova vs. I. Świątek
The women’s final took place on July 12 at 17:10 BST. Based on the WTA ranking and betting odds, Iga Świątek (Poland) was the Favourite, whereas Amanda Anisimova (USA) was the Defender. According to this, in the chart of the match, the Polish player is represented by the Ascendant in Scorpio and its ruler, Mars, as well as the Medium Coeli in Virgo and Mercury (Virgo’s ruler). The American player, on the other hand, is represented by the Descendant in Taurus and Venus, and by the Imum Coeli in Pisces and Jupiter.
At the first glance, one may think Venus in the VII house may be considered as a positive testimony for Anisimova. However, that planet is too far from the cusp of the house and, moreover, in a different sign, so its placement does not play a significant role in this chart. On the other hand, the location of the Pluto’s antiscion on the Ascendant may suggest bad testimony for Mrs Świątek, but her influence is marginal. Looking at Jupiter, it can be seen that due to his location, the role of this planet is insignificant too. Thus, after setting aside the negligible elements, we can focus on those playing significant roles in this chart.

The Moon
The key factor in this horoscope is the Moon. The first aspect made by the Moon is opposition to Mercury – ruler of the X house belonging to Świątek. The next aspect is trine to the antiscion of Mars in Aries. Mars also represents Świątek. These are the only aspects within a 5° orb along the Moon’s path. Thus, the chart shows two strong testimonies in favour of Świątek and zero in favour of Anisimova. This confirms the match result, which was 2-0 for the Polish player.
J. Sinner vs. C. Alcaraz
The men’s final took place on July 13 at 17:20 BST. Based on rankings and betting odds, Jannik Sinner was the Favourite, whereas Carlos Alcaraz was the Opponent. This horoscope is interesting due to houses’ rulership. Jupiter rules the first and fourth houses. First one belongs to Sinner whereas the second one belongs to Alcaraz. Consequently, the rulers of the fourth and tenth houses cannot be considered as representing any player, as this would create a contradiction in the interpretation. To sum up, Jupiter is the only significator of Jannik Sinner and Mercury is the only one of Carlos Alcaraz.

The Moon in this horoscope makes trine to the antiscion of Lot Of Fortune, which a positive testimony in favour of the Italian. Another strong testimony is Jupiter conjunct Lot Of Fortune. This also supports Sinner. The Favourite may have won 2-0 if not the Saturn’s antiscion on the cusp of the X house giving the point to the Opponent. As a result, the outcome was 3-1 for Jannik Sinner. Interesting here is that the match was planned to start 10 minutes earlier. In that case, the Ascendant would fall in Scorpio and the result shown in the horoscope could be different.
