On Sunday, 01 VI 2025, the second round of the presidential election is going to take place. The candidates from two extremely opposed parties will clash: Rafał Trzaskowski (PO) and Karol Nawrocki (PiS). Using the principles of war astrology, I would like to analyse the chances of both candidates to win. I will treat the moment polling stations open as the symbolic beginning of the battle. Currently, according to polls, both candidates have equal support1 so the Favourite in this confrontation, based on the results of the first round2 may be Mr. Trzaskowski and the Opponent, Mr. Nawrocki.
The Favourite is represented by the Ascendant in Cancer and the Moon, while the Opponent is represented by the Descendant in Capricorn and Saturn. In the chart for the opening of the voting, there are no malefic planets in the first or seventh house, so let’s have a look at the main significators.
The Moon is going to make a conjunction to malefic Mars and is in the second house. Moreover, she is peregrine in Leo. All together makes the favourite weak and powerless. On the other hand, Saturn is going to conjunct Neptune, considered malefic. Even though Neptune is not a planet recognised in traditional astrology, it’s hard not to notice its specific placement in this chart. Saturn is in fall in Aries, however he is an angular house which strengthens him a bit. So there are two opponents equally strong or rather equally weak.
The key factor here may be the position of the planets relative to the vertical axis. Most are on the eastern side, which belongs to Trzaskowski. Only Pluto, if we were to incorporate it into the interpretation, is on Nawrocki’s side.
The second key factor may be Saturn, ruler of the Descendant, in the tenth house, which is the fourth house for the Opponent. This could be a strong testimony in favour of Opponent – Nawrocki if Saturn weren’t debilitated in Aries.
Conclusion
Both candidates have very equal chances. The Favourite is afflicted, but also the Opponent is debilitated and has low chance to conquer the castle, which in this case could be the presidential palace. Saturn in the tenth house indicates that K. Nawrocki is likely to win. However, this victory will be a matter of the lack of strength of the Favourite – Trzaskowski.
