On February 28, 2026, the USA and Israel started military operation against Iran launching hundreds of strikes targeting Iranian military infrastructure. Britannica reports that during the strikes, the Iranian supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, together with some other officials got killed.1 According to BBC, Iran responded by attacking Israel and US-allied bases e.g. British military base in Cyprus, and non-military targets, but also neighbouring countries.2 According to the New York Times, talks about a joint military operation were already held in December 2025, and the decision to attack Iran was made not only by the US president alone.3 Another report by CBS News states that the main reasons behind the attack were to destroy Iran’s missile capabilities, prevent the country from developing nuclear weapons, and cut funding for terrorists outside its borders by the Iranian regime.4 In this post, I am going to analyse the horoscope of that war considering how it may unfold.
The Operation Time
The operation started at 1:15 EST (9:45 a.m. in Tehran).5
Who is Who
The striking started on February 28 when Sagittarius was rising above Washington D.C. It means that the USA is represented by Jupiter in Cancer in the 8th house whereas Iran is represented by the descendant in Gemini and Mercury retrograde in Pisces in the 4th house. Jupiter-USA is much more dignified by the exaltation and rules Mercury-Iran, which is not only retrograde, but also in Pisces, where he is in fall and detriment. At first glance, it appears that the US has huge power over Iran as debilitated Mercury suggests that Iran may be defeated and its leaders to be killed. In addition, the ascendant in Sagittarius is in exact conjunction with the fixed royal star – Antares, which is very malefic and harm the attacker – USA.
The 2nd house signifies allies of the USA, Israel, and they are represented by Saturn in Aries where he is in fall and in conjunction with Neptune, which weakens the ally, but also indicates the lack of greater mobilization among other allied countries. Theoretically according to that horoscope the USA should win the conflict even without a great support from its allies, however, Jupiter resides in the 8th house, the house of death indicating the negative consequences for the attacker.
An interesting coincidence is that the degree of Mars in the war horoscope (29th degree of Aquarius) falls on the descendant of the President of the USA in his natal chart.
In addition, the conjunction of the Sun and the Moon during the last Solar eclipse8 fell on the same degree of Aquarius, which heralds negative consequences for the US President.
The Israeli operation
On the same day as the USA, around 8:45 of Jerusalem time, Israel began its striking of Iran. In this horoscope, Israel is represented by the ascendant in Taurus and its ruler – Venus. In turn, Iran is signified by the descendant in Scorpio and its ruler – Mars. Israel signified by Venus in Pisces is much stronger than Mars that is peregrine in Aquarius.
Mercury, the planet signifying the allies of Israel, mainly the US, is retrograde and in fall, which means he is very weak. In addition, he is in Pisces where Venus is exalted, which shows that Venus is leading Mercury. According to the New York Times, the President of the US, did not take the decision to attack Iran alone.10
To sum up, the horoscope of the attack on Iran is more favour in the case of Israel. For the USA and its President the conflict may bring negative consequences and the victory may be doubtful or of a high price. In addition, both horoscopes’ ascendants fall in fixed signs indicating that the conflict will last long.
