Recently, I analysed the friendship and hostility between President Trump and President Zelensky. You can read about it here. Meanwhile, today, I read in the news about the drama1 between tech billionaire Elon Musk and the President of the USA. I think this is a good moment and an interesting case to analyse the relationship between two powerful people. I won’t spread what these two gentlemen have been posting online about each other because that’s not the focus of my blog. Anyone interested can look up the news and Twitter for themselves. I’ll focus on a synastry analysis of their horoscopes, with particular attention to the question of friendship or its lack.
Based on his horoscope, Donald Trump is choleric. He certainly likes to have things his way, and he always needs to have the last word. His Sun in Gemini sextile to Mars makes him having a sharp tongue and being ready to argue.
Elon Musk is a sanguine type. It seems there is some partial compatibility in temperament between him and Trump.
Looking at their synastry, one can notice their Suns are in disjunct signs – Trump’s Sun is in airy Gemini, whereas Musk’s is in watery Cancer. There’s no aspect between their Suns, and there’s no significant reception between them either.
On the other hand, their Moons are in signs that square each other: Trump’s Moon is in Sagittarius (detriment of Mercury – ruler of Virgo), while Musk’s is in Virgo (detriment of Jupiter – ruler of Sagittarius). These two Moons really don’t like each other. The Ascendant of the President of the USA is in the last degree of Leo, while Musk’s is in Cancer. There’s no aspect between them. The same situation is with the Lot of Fortune: Trump’s is in Gemini, while Musk’s is in Virgo. According to the synastry, there are no conditions here that would support a friendship.
So what happened that made these two form an alliance?
Secondary Progressions
I dug a little into the secondary progressions of both of them. In Musk’s current secondary progressions, it’s just past the New Moon at 28 degrees of Leo, which is on Trump’s natal Ascendant.
Meanwhile, Trump’s Sun in secondary progressions recently started separating from conjunction with Musk’s natal Moon (9 degrees of Virgo). That progressed Sun is now moving away from Musk’s Moon, so the time of good relations is coming to an end.
Conclusions
To sum up, based on their natal charts, it appears that Donald Trump and Elon Musk are likely to be enemies rather than people who could make a genuine friendship. Their alliance seems more like a result of temporary astrological aspects rather than a result of shared values or views. It is also important to note that my analysis refers solely to astrological factors and publicly available information and does not concern the private lives of the individuals discussed in this post.
